North Shore Tramping Club
The Medium / Distance Party will begin off Piha Road on the Ian Wells Track through to Cutty Grass Track, along the ridge to Simla then Smyth Corner, Wainamu Junction, Kuataika and out to Anawhata Road.
The Slower Party will take the bus almost to the end of Anawhata Road and do the Kuataika Track, Kuataika Peak ( 264m great views to the west ) Wainamu Junction, Smyth Corner, Simla and along the ridge to mid –Anawhata Road.
If we do not get two drivers we move to Plan B which involves circular trips off Piha Road and Anawhata Road.
Depart: 9.00am (this is the first day of Daylight Saving = 8am Standard Time). Leaves from The Strand, Takapuna.
