Karekare, Waitakeres

Come out to Karekare for a great day in the hills and on the beach. 

Short Party:

Start from Log Race Road, down via Comans Track and visit the Karekare waterfall. Out to the sand dunes and through the old train tunnel and back along the beach to the pickup at Karekare. 

• Part 1 - Log Race Road to Karekare (but not the return leg to Log Race Road)
• Part 2 - Tunnel Point returning to Karekare

Start from Log Race Road,  down via Comans Track, visit the Karekare waterfall, up Zion Hill Track and down Buck Taylor Track to the beach. Through the tunnel and up Ahu Ahu Track, and return to the bus at Log Race Road.
