A rare opportunity. Join us for a day trip on a chartered boat to Motuora Island, which is accessible only via private vessel or charter. Depart Takapuna in our yellow bus and head up to Sandspit to meet our charter boat. There will also be a pickup from the Park and Ride at Silverdale around 8:15am.
There’s no wharf at Motuora, so our captain will provide a ladder to climb down into the shallow water. Please ensure the gear in your pack is in drybags. Given it will be November, the ground should be relatively dry, so running shoes could be better than leather boots as they’re more tolerant of seawater. We’ve ordered a sunny day, so the brave may like an invigorating early-season swim.

- Bus - $15.00 members, $20,00 non-members, $5.00 juniors
