Northcote/Birkenhead Urban Walk, North Shore

Come on an urban walk through small reserves and by ways in the Northcote and Birkenhead area .

This is covering areas not included in Imogen’s walk earlier in the year.

Meet at the car park at Little Shoal Bay. Travel through Onepoto Basin and into part of Tuff Crater.  Past the tennis courts at Lake Road. Up through the bush in Turner Reserve and into Kauri Glen Reserve.  Up Birkenhead Ave to go through Birkenhead Domain. Connect to Ridgewood Reserve and into War Memorial Park then past Harvey Wright Fields before returning to Kauri Glen Reserve and past Northcote College, across Onewa Road into Le Roy Bush and down the valley back to our cars.

Depart: 9.00 am, from the car park at Little Shoal Bay Beach Reserve beside Maritime Terrace.
