Joins us for this section of the Te Araroa Walkway along side the Waikato River between Rangariri and Meremere.
The trail was partly overgrown and a bit swampy over the wet weather months, but this should improve as the warmer a dryer weather sets in.
For interest a little bush walk from the end of Skeet-Rd by Mercer to Oram-Rd a bit further south can be added. This is also part of the Te Araroa-Trail.
This could be done first and then drive down to Dragway-Rd to drop off the fast party. Bus then carries on to the Pump-station on Churchill East-Rd for short party to go north, towards Dragway-Rd.
