Save the beauty sleep for another day and welcome in the new day with stunning sunrise tramp, watch the incredible colours the sun creates as it graces the sea. You are going to want to capture in your memory and on your camera.
We'll start promptly at 6.30am to catch the low tide at about 6.08am and head south towards Devonport along the foreshore and then up and over North Head and Mt Victoria historic WW1 & WW2 historic tunnels and then cross over to the other side of the Peninsula to cover the tracks that side, including shaded bush tracks. The views will be amazing, and we'll find a suitably stunning place to stop for lunch as always. Please note the foreshore will be slippery and uneven. Expect to walk approximately 4-4.5 hours or less if the groups are quite small. Please bring: torch, swimming gear for anyone keen for a spring swim, ample food and cold water and day pack. Comfortable trail shoes or running shoes with good grip you don't mind getting dirty or that are washable will be ideal. If joining us for this event, as with all tramps, please ensure that all your gear, especially footwear is scrupulously clean before and cleaned after. Bring a headlight, torch or your phone to light up the tunnels and bring a change of footwear for after to get into good regular after tramping habits.
