Due to storm damage, the Motuihe Island Wharf is currently closed until further notice and Red Boat Ferries are not running. This tramp HAS THEREFORE BEEN CANCELLED but will be rescheduled later in the year.

Location: Pier Z Westhaven Marina
Leave the city behind and cruise to an island paradise with white sandy beaches, native birds, plant life, and crystal-clear waters. Our walk takes us around the island’s coast, where rocky platforms alternate with sandy beaches, with a chance to enjoy wide views of the Hauraki Gulf and visit relics of the island’s varied history. We will combine the Tieke Bush, Bald Knob and Eastern Beaches tracks with a chance for a swim, so bring your togs, plenty of water, lunch and snacks.
Purchase your ferry ticket online well in advance to avoid missing out. Ferry fare is $38 return.
Ferry departs Pier Z, Westhaven Marina, at 9.00am sharp, so please be there at 8.30am. Ferry departs Motuihe at 4.00pm, returning to Pier Z about 4.30pm. More information about parking and how to get to Pier Z can be found on the Red Boats website.
