Ambury Farm and Mangere Mountain

  Ambury Farm & Mangere Mountain

  This is an extremely scenic tramp, so definitely bring your camera, phone camera and binoculars for bird spotting. 

  We will head up and around the 107 metre summit of Mangere Mountain.  The views are very beautiful with a view out to the  Waitakere Ranges across the other side of the Manukau Harbour as we make our way around this coastal tramp.  

  Trail shoes or running shoes you don't mind getting dirty would be most suitable. 

  Approximately 21kms in total for the medium distance and another potential 7kms if time permits and the Long party want to stretch their legs around the other side of Puketutu Island & Stonefields, with easy, fast footing.  

  Please ensure all boots and gear are clean as we will be in an area with Kauri. 

  Bring plenty of water.
