Waihi Beach Trig & Forest Loop, & Orokawa Bay Track

Two new tramps for the club in one day.  Total km approx. 13km for the day.  Expect the track to be muddy in parts, boots or trail shoes are recommended.

Waihi Beach Trig & Forest Loop

Starting at The Esplanade Road carpark the trail is a 7.26km return loop with native bush, pine forest, many spectacular viewing points.  Track has some steps and steep bits and a well maintained walking track but will be muddy in parts.  There’s a beautiful stunning beach swim for those who are keen.

Waihi Beach to Orokawa Bay

A 6km return out and back this is an easy to moderate, beautiful scenic coastal track.
