Albany, Rosedale Urban Loop

With all the wet weather, here is one that will keep your feet clean and dry and get you up front and personal with the new Albany/Rosedale shared walkway.
We will start at the Hooton Reserve car park opposite Mitre10 Oteha Valley Road. From there we will head East on Oteha Valley Road and head up the new shared walkway that follows the motorway South down to Constellation Drive bus terminal. From there its turn right along Upper Harbour Highway and on to another new shared walkway to Omega Park and onto Rosedale Park, from there it’s on to the road head west along Rosedale and onto the Albany Highway to pick up the path to The Landing Reserve and Kell Park returning us to Hooton Reserve. Expect a little over 10 km paved easy walking all the way. Bail out options if you want on the way. A perfect light workout for a winter’s day. Bring some snacks and of course your raincoat. Running shoes or cross trainers will be sufficient for this one!
Please note this event does not qualify as a day trip for people applying for membership. This day is suitable for new members!
