Leave the city behind and cruise to an island paradise with pristine white sandy beaches, plant life,native birds and crystal-clear waters. Our walk takes us around the island’s coast, where rocky platforms alternate with sandy beaches, with a chance to enjoy wide views of the Hauraki Gulf and visit relics of the island’s interesting history. We will combine the Tieke Bush, Bald Knob and Eastern Beaches tracks with a opportunity for a swim, so bring your togs, plenty of water, lunch and snacks.
Purchase your ferry ticket online well in advance to avoid missing out. Ferry fare is $43 return. Gold card holders $35
Ferry departs Pier Z, Westhaven Marina, at 9.00am sharp, so please be there at 8.30am. Ferry departs Motuihe at 4.00pm, returning to Pier Z approx 5.30pm. More information about parking and how to get to Pier Z can be found on the Red Boats website.
