Starting at Clifton Road, this is a popular10km path for hiking and seeing the birdlife, great water views alongside the Turanga Creek Estuary, huge trees, farmland, majestic houses, and plentiful birdlife. Note this is a dog friendly area so there may be dogs on leads on the trail.

We’ll include a walk around the Ayrlies Wetlands area which is home to a diverse range of native wildlife.
The Wetlands - Ayrlies Garden & Wetlands
Approx 13km including the wetlands on good, mostly flat tracks with a few gentle hills. Trail shoes or quality running shoes you don’t mind getting dirty will be fine.
Depart: 9.00 am The Strand, Takapuna or register for a Greenlane pickup.
