LITTLE SHOAL BAY TO KENDALL BAY LOOP

Join us for a number of amazing forest escarpment tracks that have very recently re-opened after last years floods and slips around Northcote, Birkenhead & Chatswood.  
If you've not been through here before there's a big network of tracks and if you've been through these tracks before you'll know how cool they are. 
There's some short, sharp climbs, especially out of Kendall Bay on uneven surfaces most of the day.  Expect to walk about 5 hours and with the low tide at about 11.42am there is potential to walk along the foreshore for a short while for a bit of variety. 

Please ensure you have plenty of food and water as we do not plan to stop anywhere for cafes etc, except maybe at the end. 

Please ensure that ALL your gear is clean, especially footwear and poles etc that may come into direct contact with the ground, as we will be walking through many Kauri'd areas. 
PLEASE BRING A CHANGE OF CLEAN FOOTWEAR FOR AFTERWARDS TOO, so you're not driving home in dirty footwear that might spread the the spores. 

We'll be in the bush and forest escarpments most of the day, so Trail Runners or Tramping boots will probably be fine. 


 **  PLEASE ensure that all of your gear is clean, poles, boots, bag etc, as always before and again afterwards, especially when passing through Kauri'd areas.    And fully cleaned afterwards!
