Presented by the New Zealand Alpine Club, the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour returns to Aotearoa this June.
The Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour has something for everyone, as we travel to remote vistas, analyse topical environmental issues, and bring audiences up-close and personal with adrenaline-packed action sports.
We have a special offer for any North Shore Tramping Club members wanting to attend Banff in Auckland at SkyCity Theatre screening throughout June. All the profits from the festival are used by the New Zealand Alpine Club to support recreation and access to Aotearoa’s alpine regions.

Auckland will be screening the Ruapehu and Tasman Programs as follows:
● Fri 7 June, 6:30pm – Ruapehu Program
● Tues 11 June, 6:30pm – Tasman Program
● Thurs 13 June, 6:30pm – Tasman Program
● Tues 18 June, 6:30pm – Ruapehu Program
● Thurs 20 June, 6:30pm – Ruapehu Program
● Sun 23 June, 5pm – Tasman Program
If we had to summarise each of the programs, we would describe the Ruapehu Program as being ‘death-defying’ and the Tasman Program as ‘personal conviction’. Take your pick…or both!
